Bike messengers are freakin' crazy. Crazy awesome, too. It's like rules don't apply to them-- whatever "rules" there are related to biking, they're not really enforced. It just seems like an "at your own risk" sort of thing. Which is awesome.

The original idea was just the Reaper with "Carpe Diem" on it, but I just kept adding to it, and it turned out pretty interesting imo...


I thought that "remember your death" (a translation of memento mori) was really profound...

New art coming soon,
but I figured I'd post an explanation of my new blog title thingy.

It was just a quick photoshop project,
No disrespect intended towards the Statue of Liberty.

The point of it: The Statue of Liberty is a universally-known symbol of freedom, and I use skulls as a symbol of mortality (carpe diem type of thing)... so I just hit 2 birds with 1 stone. Honestly, the skull people were just decorative... they fit style-wise with the Statue.

Caramel Swirl

Inspired by my last one, "Peppermint Candy", here's the Caramel-Swirl Ice Cream-Girl! Hehe, I rhymed. I got lazy with this one... didn't clean it up before I colored, and didn't feel like coloring the cone.. Oh well.

EDIT: I quote: "F***, I'd eat it." LOL.
