Winter

I don't feel like taking a photo of my latest art project (my most complex stencil piece so far), so I guess you'll have to wait in suspense.

Instead, I shall bore you with my thoughts...

I love winter. In more ways than one. It's just a great season.
First of all, it's the coldest season! (Betcha didn't know that.) I swear I've got some Viking blood, so this is just awesome for me.. but also, winter is the time when nature strikes back. Here's what I mean: it's cold, freezing outside, leaving desolation.. These conditions require the most shelter, because of the sheer hostility of blistering winds and freezing ice and snow. This is a season when mankind must submit and yield to nature. It's great.
This hostility in the outdoors makes the indoors so much more cozy too. Coming in to a warm house after your ears and nose have gone numb is such a comfy sensation. In more public areas, people are much more cheery, chummy, and approachable when they retreat indoors from the cold.. It's like a very very mild version of survivors in a nuke shelter. :P
